Highlights include a\u00a0mash-up of\u00a0cannabis leaves, my hotel shower curtain flower art, Moorish geometric patterns, 19th-century bird etchings, and Japanese\u00a0candy-wrappers in the dark\u00a0moody colors of Flanders that are so distinctive.<\/p>\n

Ghent has 400 kilometers of\u00a0bike lanes\u00a0and more than 700 one-way streets, where bikes are allowed to go against the traffic. It also boasts the world’s\u00a0first cycle street, where cars are considered \u2018guests\u2019 and must stay behind cyclists. A highly recommended cycling tourism destination, especially if you love cobbles\/gravel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
