VENTURE SHORT BLACK IRIS

When not in action on your bike, the new 2-in-1 Venture gracefully shifts into a great hiking, pickleball-playing, international travel short. Years of fit refinement on other predecessors led us here. It’s always tricky with a fitted waist and woven fabric but we’ve engineered a new adjustment system, applied Terry shaping to accommodate a cyclist’s unique muscle structure, finessed the length and made it in two different fits (regular or relaxed). Next, we loaded it up with nicely organized pockets and added a full gusset through the crotch to avoid seam chafing. Sold with our stand-alone Universal Liner, you get the best of both worlds (padded or solo). Note: Regular fit is more streamlined through the hip, thigh and leg.

• outer short: 90% recycled polyester/10% spandex with water-resistant finish; liner: 90% nylon/10% spandex
• shaped waist, contoured at rear, with low profile nylon webbing and rear elastic for the ultimate in fit fine tuning
• full-length crotch gusset for better seam placement through key zone
• flatteringly curved back panel with reflective piping and embroidered chainlink detail
• 2 front hand pockets; 1 zippered leg pocket on left leg
• snap front closure
• unattached Universal Liner with Urban chamois, gentle elastic leg/waistband and 6.5 inch inseam
• 11.5 inch inseam (outer short)

Urban Chamois:
Compact size, seamless chamois with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology and multi-density foam padding. Shorter front to back and less bulky, for riding in a more upright commuter position. Light microfiber fabric reduces bulk at inner thigh to avoid chafing. Made in Italy.
